Art provides me the freedom to discover what is most important at a given moment of time. As such I draw a plan in my sketchbook and often draw what I see. Hopefully the care for land, people, animals, and plants is expressed. Using basic categories of life - landscapes - objects - vehicles - animals - plants, I try to narrow down the main subject. Currently I am painting in oil and watercolor, working with wood, wire and clay. Our birds seem to be on the defensive as flight patterns are disrupted by humans.
Art can both affirm the magic of birds and help inform us about their needs.
