To paint outdoors and feel the wind, hear the birds and see the shadows moving across the land is the ultimate experience for me as an artist. Hours can seem like minutes and a serene feeling of peace comes over me. It is a kind of communication between the artist and nature that I find more gratifying than any other endeavor on earth.
